Calvary Center for Culture and Community

Calvary Center for Culture and Community is a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created by Calvary United Methodist Church to help preserve and rejuvenate its historic building, which is both a neighborhood landmark and one of the region's finest and best-preserved Victorian churches.

The building is a central meeting place for many different groups and organizations in West Philadelphia, including:

In addition, Calvary plays host to a variety of other programs and activities, including AA, NA and MA (Marijuana Anonymous) meetings, Ju Jutsi (karate) classes, community forums, concerts and other events.
