Ministries

Ministries at Calvary are organized within a larger framework known as Nurture-Outreach-Witness (NOW). Each NOW sub-group is task-oriented, meeting as often as necessary related to specific projects.

All the NOW groups also meet together the 4th Thursday of every other month at 7 pm to fellowship and share updates on their progress. Contact Pastor John in the church office if you'd like to get involved, or with any questions!

Nurture is primarily responsible for encouarging and supporting ministries related to the care, education and spiritual development of the congregation, including those physically or otherwise unable to make it to church on Sundays.

Outreach is primarily responsible for communicating who we are as a congregation within the larger community, including within the United Methodist Church, and following up with visitors.

Witness is primarily responsible for encouraging and supporting ministries related to peace and social justice education, advocacy and action in the immediate community and beyond.
